Pasar Senen Traders Refuse to Occupy Temporary Kiosks at Block V

A number of traders at Block III Pasar Senen who became fire victims are still reluctant to occupy the temporary kiosks in Block V, Pasar Senen. Of the 1,170 kiosks provided by PD Pasar Jaya, only 20 kiosks are occupied.

Pasar Senen Traders Refuse Relocation

"The rolling door is not yet installed and lack of lighting in Block III, how buyers want to come?," he lamented, Friday (5/23).

As a result, there are still many traders who sell on the sidewalk and the roadside, causing traffic congestion.

Central Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Yadi Rusmayadi stressed that his personnel will control those who are still selling on the sidewalk if the relocation process to temporary shelter is completed.

"We'll wait for the relocation process for traders to temporary shelter. If it is done and we see traders sell on roadside, we will control them," he expressed.
